I always felt comfortable and at ease in his company. I remeber we joked about Rachel Ray's hands and how big they were. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Buzz.

We became very close friends and in 1985 moved to Dallas and were roomates for awhile. Buzz knew lots of people and was very popular. He was one of the most intellegent friends I ever had.

When I moved back to St. Louis in 1992 we became close friends again until he left for Arkansas around 2000. As the years went by, he became more difficult to keep up with and eventually I lost track completely of him.

Back in the day Don was almost larger than life. If you met him you wouldn't forget him. If you spent time with him you most likely have stories that your still telling today. He did like to live life in the fast lane. But he also had a big heart and was a very giving person. He touched a lot of lives. It's so sad that he drifted away in the last few years.

If you could have assembled all of the friends he made over the years it would have taken a basketball gym to hold them all. My condolences go out to his family.
