Nancy wasn't fancy but she was filled with cheer. She'd join your cause, put life on pause, and offer you a beer. She worked long and strong with uniform on she'd stay an extra shift. On the bus she might dose, unwind at the Red Rose, and go picking until she was stiff. Her dear friend was Bob and they would hobnob in their country western clothes. One of the funniest last memories Nancy shared with me was our conversation about the great crabs at Walt's Red Rose cafe. My husband was ill that night but he gave me his blessing to go to Crab night. Nancy sat beside me drinking her Pabst. I ate 3 trays of perfect crabs and

I was so sorry to read about Nancy's death. What a shock! We have became friends & neighbors years ago. She was a good person.
