I got to know Uncle Joe when he came home to bury my Jim and Kitty. He earned a special place in my heart. Joe you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I entered the Capuchin novitiate in 1962 and Fintan was my Asssitant Novice Master. When my father died in January 1963, Fintan was the one who accompanied me to the funeral and in so doing became well known to the entire family. My mother was a good friend of his mother and visited her often on the North Circular Road. May the good Lord have mercy on them all and give them peace.

Fr. Fintan, Uncle Joe. A loving and much loved Uncle. We always loved your trips home each summer to Ireland. You were such a treasured member of the family. You loved keeping up to date with all the news from your brother's and sister's families and you came home at the drop of a hat to celebrate happy times and to mark sad times too. We have great and happy memories of you and we will miss you terribly as

When we were home-bound, you offered masses for us at home, and when you needed our support, we were always at your side. You offered pastoral leadership on our tours to the Holy Land, Rome, Lourdes, Medjugorge

To the Family of Father Fintan:

I remember him from my time at OLA and always appreciated speaking with him. May the Lord give you peace at this time. I know Our Lady has blessed him and he is with the Lord enjoying his peace and comfort.

God bless,

Sister Jean, rsm

I met Br. Fintan at Burlingame, CA last year and, with the other postulants, continued to talk with him at Mercy Center every other Thursday. Although we had short conversations, I was glad that he was happy to see us.

May God grant him peace.

Alex
