Matt was a smiling face on the back row of my accounting class at St. Ed's. He was one of those students that other students often seemed to know. We connected because I lived in Lakeway and I remember him telling me how much he enjoyed spending time at Lake Travis. I, too, am the mom of a 24 year old. My heart goes out to you.

My heart breaks for the family. May God comfort and help you as you deal with this difficult time and in the days to come when you think of Matt. He was my student and a close student/friend. We talked many times about issues in his life. I regret I was not able to prevent his untimely passing. God be with you.

Oh, Meggie, how I wish I could be there with you today. I will fondly remember the night we cousins enjoyed ourselves at the crab place in Bethany with Matt joining our generation. It was so nice to have him there with us. His smile will stay with me always. I love you do much!!! Peace to you and the family.
