Alice Krueger, age 94, of Sibley, Iowa, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Sibley Nursing and Rehab in Sibley.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sibley. Rev. James Berka officiating.

Burial at 1:00 P.M. at the Lakefield Cemetery in Lakefield, Minnesota.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Service from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sibley.

Alice M. Krueger was born on May 26, 1918, in Lakefield, Minnesota. She was the daughter of William and Mary (Henricksen) Hochstein. She lived her youth in the Lakefield area, where she attended school.
She was united in marriage to Rineheardt Krueger of Lakefield on May 23, 1935 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. They lived in Lakefield, Heron Lake, Wilder and Worthington, Minnesota. Rineheardt was a mill rite and later an over-the-road truck driver. He then worked for Campbell's Soup in Worthington, until he was injured. Alice worked at Campbell's Soup also until she was injured and then later returned to Campbell's Soup to work. Rineheardt passed away on July 1, 1974.
Alice loved her family and was very family oriented. She spent many hours providing child care to her grandchildren while their parents worked. She enjoyed attending the grandchildren and great-grandchildren's school activities. She enjoyed sewing for her granddaughters and great-granddaughters. She made blankets, quilts, wagon wheel rugs and doll blankets. She was a good baker and made the best cinnamon rolls. Alice also had fun dancing and going on trips with her friends and the Singles Club.
She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sibley. She was a former member of American Lutheran Church in Worthington, where she was active when she was able.
Alice passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Sibley Nursing and Rehab in Sibley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Lowell Heibult of Sibley, IA, and their children: Kristie Heibult of Sioux City, IA and Suzette (Arlyn) Harms of Sioux City, IA, and their daughters: Hannah Harms and Allyson Harms; her son and daughter-in-law: Victor and Eva Krueger of California, and their children: Keith Krueger of Minneapolis, MN and Leah (Jarrod) Broesder of Sioux Falls, SD, and their children: Madison Broesder and Kurgan Broesder; son: DeLoy Krueger (deceased) and his children: Richard Krueger of Phoenix, AZ and Pamela (Darl) Schoenenberger of Minneapolis, MN; one sister-in-law: Elnora Hochstein of Fulda, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rineheardt; son: DeLoy Krueger; infant granddaughter: Jeanne Krueger; her parents; 4 brothers: John Hochstein, Elmer Hochstein, Clarence Hochstein, and Walter Hochstein; one sister: Laura (Leo) Hudson.
