Mrs. Bich Nguyen was born on Jan 15th, 1927 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. She passed away suddenly on July 26th, 2012 (August 6th, year of the Dragon) at Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla, CA due to a heart problem. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, and friend. She was a very kind hearted and generous lady to all her children, relatives, friends, churches, temples, and even strangers. She was a great cook and loved to cook for the family till the day she passed. As a devout person, she prayed twice a day whether it rained or shined, whether she was sick or healthy. She loved to travel and went to many places with her family. She didn't mind if it was driving, flying, or cruising. She was planning to go on another cruise in late August/early September, as well as go to France to visit her relative, friend, and to China to see the Great Wall. She enjoyed the Oceanside beach just as much as seeing the sunrise at 5am on the top of the Haleakala mountain in Maui. She was respected and loved by anyone who she touched their lives. She is survived by 12 children, 16 grand-children, and 6 great-grandchildren.
