Billy Ray Hall, 63, production technician at Cytec Industries in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at his residence on Brookview Circle in Columbia.

Family and friends will gather for a time of remembrance and celebration of the life of Billy Ray Hall on Saturday at 4:00 P.M. at his residence, 107 Brookview Circle, Columbia. The Maury County native was the son of Mildred Christine Jones Hall Tillery of Culleoka and the late John Granville Hall. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hall's favorite pastimes included reading and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Stacey Christine (James) Compton of Bossier City, Louisiana; Jamie Sue Whitworth of Navarre, Florida; one son, Adam Ray (Wendy) Hall of Toledo, Ohio; step-brother, Ronnie (Bridgett) Tillery of Franklin; step-sisters, Janice Sims and Cheryl Howell, both of Columbia; seven grandchildren; his former wife, Cherie Stacey Hyndman of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Dwight "J. D." Hall.
