Christopher E. Bonner, of Valhalla, NY, passed away peacefully, at home, on April 7, 2011. Born March 29, 1937 in the Bronx, Christopher graduated from Evander Childs High School and entered the United States Air Force as a Basic Airman in 1954. He served overseas and was honorably discharged in 1958 with the title of Weapons Mechanic. Christopher was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. After years of service as a route salesman for the Pepsi Bottling, Co. of Mount Vernon, Christopher retired in 1999. He devoted time to scuba-diving and was a licensed PADI Dive Instructor. Christopher was also a coxswain and a dedicated member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He served in many capacities as an auxiliarist, most notable of which was Division Chief of Uniform (DVC-PX). Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Curcio-Bonner. He will be remembered by his daughters, Sabrina Bonner and husband, Frank Tornabene, of Mamaroneck; Christina Bonner of Jacksonville; Crystal Wilson and husband, Daniel, of Baltimore; and Coral Curcio-Bonner of Valhalla. Christopher was predeceased by his son, Clifford Bonner.
