CEDAR FALLS- Emily A. Carlson, 36, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, August 10, 2012, at her home.
She was born December 21, 1975 in Cedar Falls, daughter of George and Mary Jane Hursh. She married Shawn L. Carlson on July 25, 1998 in Cedar Falls.
She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1994 and attended Hawkeye Community College. She was a caring wife and mother.
Survived by: her husband of Cedar Falls; four children: Austin, Abigail, Aaron and Adalie, all of Cedar Falls; her parents of Cedar Falls; and her brother John Hursh also of Cedar Falls.
Preceded in death by: an infant daughter, Analeigh Jane Carlson; paternal grandparents, Richmond and Marie Hursh; maternal grandparents, John and Rosemary Britt; and her mother and father in law, Ruby and Jean Carlson.
Services: will be held 11:00am Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4:00-7:30pm Monday with a 7:30pm scripture service, at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, and also for one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
A memorial has been established by the family.
