Mr. Ernest Walton "Bo" Gainey, age 77 of McBryde St., Linden, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.

Mr. Gainey was born December 21, 1935 in Johnston County the Son of the late Joseph Allen & Willie Mae Foster Gainey. He is preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Jackie Gainey & Gene Gainey and a Sister, Shirley G. Sherron.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday January 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Colliers Chapel Church with Rev. John Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens Cemetery in Dunn.

Surviving Include: His Wife: Gladys Annette Butler Gainey of the home.

A Daughter: Cathy G. Jackson & (husband) Jimmy of Linden, NC

2 Sons: Ernest "Buck" Gainey, Jr. & (wife) Rhonda of Linden, NC
Mark Gainey & (wife) Colleen of Linden, NC

2 Sisters: Marilyn G. Byrd & (Husband) Billy of Fayetteville, NC
LaRue Walters & (Husband) Paul of Fayetteville, NC

Grandchildren: Jennifer Arno & (husband) Christopher, Amanda McClellan & (husband) Shawn, Joel Gainey, Farrah Gainey, Leah Gainey, Rachel Gainey, David Sherron, Hannah Sherron all of Linden, NC

Great-Grandchildren: Nolan Arno, Kylie McClellan, Brooke McClellan, Kaylin Arno all of Linden, NC

The Family will receive friends at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 17, 2013.
