To My Granny who i loved very much. even though i was not there alot of the time that i would loved to have been i always picked the phone up and called you every week whenever possible . I can sit here right now and close my eyes and i can hear you say hello and me say hey granny just as well as if i had just dialed your number. I never knew that the day my brother and I was dropped off on your door step that that would be the best 4 yrs of my life. i use to hate getting up in the morning and do a few chores before you fed me breakfast and dropped me off at school. i hated to come home and work out in the garden and being made to do my home work, or having to pick up pecans that had fallen from the big old tree in the front yard and then cracking them so you could freeze them or sitting around at night shelling beans, or so many other things you had me do that i hated and some days i thought you were the meanest old lady that i knew of.I remember you telling me to never start shaving my legs and that i would never have to,but like a dummy i went in the bathroom and found a old straight razor and tried to shave my legs and cut them all to pieces but you did not even fuss at me you just helped me clean it up. you were more than just a granny to me you were like the mom that i always wanted and never had. I did love to sit around and play whahoo and the game of spoons and you teaching me how to make little croched dogs so i could give to my teachers and others for christmas gifts. and you making me those chroched pop corn purses and you taking me to church and pot luck sundays and i never had to worry about coming home to a empty house or some one being drunk there or if i was going to go to bed hungry or no food in the morning or where my next meal was coming from. i remember good old home made cheese biscuits and corn fritters and swinging on the front porch swing. so many memories going through my mind that i will never forget. I thank God that i had the chance to visit you in the hospital to tell you THANK YOU for the best most stable 2 yrs of my life. There are so many things i could continue to say but all of it basically comes down to I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU DEARLY. And even though i hated it then some of the time and thought you were a mean old lady. Thank you for the very "BEST" 4 yrs of my life . you taught me so many things i will never forget. I LOVE YOU GRANNY

The heart remembers most what it has loved best. May memories comfort you and the family and bring peace among all.

Life will not be the same without Granny. My memories are her unchanged stability, kindness, love of her husband, family, friends, church, flowers and her Lord (whom she served many years), are the memories that will linger forever. A true saint that never changed in her ways. I can only pray that some of her faith and strength has been instilled in me. For she, without a doubt, I WILL see in Heaven one day!

I was deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Adams. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Aunt Eula was a sweet and loving lady. I have many memories of her and my nana ( Pearl Bass). I know that they are together in heaven now.
