Ina "Trey" Simmons

Ina "Trey" Simmons, 70, of Atkins, died Monday, August 13, 2012, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born February 9, 1942, at Russellville, to Tom and Nola Mae McCall. She was a former customer service representative and a member of Sweet Home Free Will Baptist Church near Atkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Simmons; four sons: Charles T. Simmons, Brooks S. Simmons, Brion W. Simmons and Michael K. Simmons; two daughters, Nichole M. Simmons Young and Lori E. Simmons Deason; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Jim Chronister. Burial will be in North New Hope Cemetery near Dover, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers will be her sons as well as a son-in-law, Carl D. Young, and a grandson, Colton S. Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Peter James Post, Billy Mills and Doug Brinkley.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
