Janet J. (Chandler) Knight, 77 of Brockton, died on August 14, 2012 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. She was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Russell and Alma (Vinton) Chandler and was raised and educated there.

Janet had been employed for many years as a housekeeper at the Braemoor Nursing Home in Brockton. She is survived by her children, Deborah E. Barnes of TX, Russell A. Knight, Kathy E. Knight and Kimberly J. Pelland all of Brockton and Warren E. Knight of FL.

The Knight family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Friday August 17th 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. in Rockland. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery in Brockton.
