Judith Evans Gower, 72, died Saturday at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who centered her life around her family. She was an interior decorator and homemaker who had a giving nature. She especially enjoyed her home as well as cooking, sewing and gardening. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:00 pm on Thursday prior to the service at Montlawn Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Lawrence Wilton Gower; daughter, Cynthia Ransom and husband Steve of Raleigh; grandsons, Jonathan Ransom of Raleigh and Joshua Ransom and wife Stephanie of Clayton; 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
