Marilyn Kay Branski (nee Harris), 70, of Delafield, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn was born March 29, 1942, to Robert and Mabel (Waidelich) Harris in St. Johns, Michigan.
On June 1, 1963 she was united in marriage to Joseph Branski, who survives along with their children, Kathy (John) Micka of Belleville, WI and Mike (Jen) Branski of Mukwonago, WI. She is also survived by her grandsons Sam and Jack Micka and Charlie Branski. Also surviving is her brother Richard (Carolyn) Harris of Waunakee. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mabel Harris and sister Louise Aderhold.
Marilyn loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid gardener and loved to travel.
Private services for Marilyn were held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc. Marilyn was laid to rest at LaBelle Cemetery following the service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gilberto (Gil) Rodrigues and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Summit for the wonderful care they have provided over the last few years. In addition, the family would also like to thank Angels Grace Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in Summit or to the American Cancer Society.
