Michael H. Bryer passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Maria "Vicky" Mangosing Bryer for 27 years.
Father of Nicole Bryer. Son of the late Henry Bryer and Maybelle Marie "Cookie" Bryer. Step-son of Alberta Elmer Bryer. Step-brother of Suzanne Boudreaux and Chris Elmer. Brother-in-law of Ruben Mangosing (Florence), Enrico Mangosing (Rosalinda) and the late Leopoldo Mangosing. He is also survived by his dogs Mochi and Sophie as well as many nieces and nephews.
Michael worked for Boh Brothers Construction and enjoyed being a Ham radio operator, a pastime he had since a child. He was an avid bowler.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor, 4921 W. Metairie Ave., on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
