Mildred A. Schmitzer, 90, passed away January 16, 2013. Mrs. Schmitzer was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She moved to Orlando in 1952. She was a member of the DOES Drove 66. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jack Schmitzer; daughter Norma Ackert of Orlando; son William Schmitzer of Cookeville, TN; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm with service following at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Baldwin Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe Chapel. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services, P.O. Box 49, Umatilla, FL 32784.
