Paula M. Pluciniak, age 74, of Maumee, returned to the Lord on Thursday, August 9, in Hospice of Toledo. She was born July 6, 1938 in Toledo to Lloyd and Stella (Heuring) Rawlins. She worked in the accounting department of various companies on the east coast including N. Syracuse NY Board of Education, State Farm Company and Sterling Horticulture Services in New Jersey and for her husband's company, IBIS also in New Jersey. She retired in 2004 and moved back to the Toledo Area with her husband, Robert. She was a member of the Vern McCune Post 132 of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Joseph's Church, Maumee. Paula was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marcella Hoskins. Surviving is her husband, Deacon Robert Pluciniak; daughter, Roberta Robin; son, Timothy Pluciniak; grandchildren, Robert Kinnie, Katie Zieber and Elizabeth, Rebecca and TJ Pluciniak; great granddaughter, Mackenzie Kinnie; sister, Edith Flayter; and brother, Lloyd Rawlins. Friends may visit the family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday from 2-8 PM where a scripture service will be held Sunday at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin Monday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to St. Joseph Church Commitment to Community Campaign, 108 W. Broadway Maumee, Ohio 43537 or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 River Rd., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
