RICHARD J. RIGALI Jr., 56, died at 5:20 p.m. November 22, 2005, at SCCI Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born October 13, 1949, in Lima, Ohio to Richard J. Rigali Sr. and Norma Wiemer Rigali. His father survives; his mother preceded him in death. On October 13, 2001, he married Linda Smith, who survives. Mr. Rigali worked at St. Rita's Medical Center in the maintenance department. He was a 1967 graduate of Lima Central Catholic. He was a member of American Legion Post 96 and Orioles Nest 173, both of Lima, and the Chained Eagles. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and AMVETS Post 1. He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the Navy from April 1, 1969, to January 30, 1973. Survivors also include a son, Nicholas Rigali of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Emily Rigali of Lima, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Melissa Rimes of Lima, Ohio; a stepson, Eric Hanes of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, Renato "Tony" (Peggy) Rigali, Raymond (Darlene) Rigali and Robert "Rob" (Beth Bickel) Rigali, all of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Regina (Jesse) Harrod of Lima, Ohio; and two step grandchildren, Travis Rimes Jr. and Kacey Rimes. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Love will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
