Mr. Thomas E. 'Tommy' Dodson Jr., age 64, of Forrest City, died Saturday at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City. His death came sudden and unexpected.

Mr. Dodson was born May 14, 1948, in Forrest City, and was the son of Thomas E. Dodson Sr., and Carolyn Kincaid Dodson. He lived in St. Francis County all of his life, was a farmer, was on the St. Francis County Fair Association Board, and was a member of the Ridgewood Baptist Church.

Mr. Dodson married Bonnie Taylor in 1973, and she survives him along with two daughters; Carolyn Dodson-King of Memphis, Tennessee, and Hallie Dodson-Swenson of Hollister, California, his step-mother, Edith Dodson of Forrest City, one sister, Gladys Scott of Roe, Arkansas, one step-sister, Mary Napier of Kimberling City, Missouri, and two grandchildren; Ethan and Colin.

Services for Mr. Dodson will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., at Stevens Funeral Home with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
